Block Poster

Block Poster Pro is a free web tool that converts images, documents, and web visuals into print-ready tiled poster PDFs. It is designed for practical large-format printing on a standard home, school, or office printer, so users can create wall-sized posters without specialist hardware or wide-format equipment. The main workflow runs in the browser. A user uploads an image or a supported document, or captures a visual with the Chrome extension. Supported source formats include images, PDF, TXT, Markdown, and DOCX. The app calculates the chosen poster layout and slices it into overlapping printable tiles based on paper size, orientation, poster width, margins, and fit mode. Users can build and inspect the complete tiled preview before exporting, then download a PDF that can be printed, trimmed, and assembled into one large poster. Paper size options include A4, Letter, A3, Legal, Tabloid, and A2. The layout controls also cover orientation, pages across, margins, overlap, contain or cover fit, cut marks, and page labels. Block Poster Pro provides both a web studio and a Chrome extension. The extension lets users select page images, capture the visible area, paste an image, or scan the current page, turning useful web visuals into posters. The tool also supports collaborative classroom poster packages for groups of 4 to 100, which makes it useful for teachers and students preparing classroom murals and group activities. Optional AI line-art tools are separate from the core poster-slicing workflow and can generate Clean or Detail line-art artwork. The freemium pricing model includes free use with complete previews and watermarked image exports up to 3MB for supported personal files. A single watermark-free export costs $5 one-time. Pro Monthly is $19.99 per month. Pro Yearly is $169 per year and includes permanent non-AI Studio access after the first successful payment. Optional AI credit packs are also available.
